Your privacy, plainly explained
What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short, and we do not sell your data.

Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Menurium (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit this website, use the Menurium app (app.menurium.net) to run the menu of a restaurant, café or hotel, or view and order from a menu that a venue publishes with Menurium.
Two roles matter here. For information about our customers — venue owners and their teams — we decide how it is used. For information about guests who view or order from a venue’s menu, the venue decides how it is used and we process it on the venue’s behalf. If you have a question about a specific venue’s menu or order, please contact that venue.
Information we collect
- Account and business details — your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash), plus your venue’s name, country, branches, opening hours and team members.
- Menu content — the categories, items, prices, descriptions, translations, photos and logos you add.
- Orders — when a guest orders from a venue’s menu, the items, table and totals of that order.
- Messages — what you send us through the contact form: your name, venue name, email address, optional phone number, message and topics of interest.
- Billing details — handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payments and your subscription status, but we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, the menus viewed (we count menu views), and request and error logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide, operate and maintain Menurium and your menus.
- To deliver guests’ orders to the venue.
- To reply to your messages, support requests and demo requests.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To protect against abuse, fraud and security incidents, including rate limiting.
- To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
AI features
If you use the optional AI menu import or translation tools, the files (photos or PDFs) or text you submit are sent to a third-party AI service provider to be processed and returned to you. Please upload only content you have the right to use, and avoid including sensitive personal information in your files.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- The venue you order from, if you are a guest.
- Service providers that help us operate Menurium — cloud storage and content delivery, payment processing, email delivery and AI processing. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and security.
- A successor, if Menurium is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Cookies and local storage
This marketing website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It loads its fonts from a third-party font service, which means your browser contacts that service when a page loads.
The Menurium app and published menus use your browser’s local storage — not tracking cookies — to keep you signed in, remember your language and theme, and hold a guest’s cart. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep account and menu data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data, except where we must keep some of it to meet legal, accounting or security obligations. Technical logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, strict separation between organizations’ data, and role-based access for team members. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect misuse.
International transfers
Our service providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We take steps to keep it protected wherever it goes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we process it;
- receive a copy of your data; and
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page from the email address on your account. Guests should send requests about a specific order to the venue that took it.
Children
Menurium is built for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Menurium evolves. We will change the “last updated” date above, and we will let account holders know about significant changes.
